This is a critical analysis of the theories and foundations of Calculus. Topics include the basic concepts and applications of limits and functions, differentiation and integration. The object of this course is to give exceptional math students the opportunity to study college Calculus while still in high school. A summer assignment is to be completed and submitted on the first day of class.
The AP Exam is mandatory.
Qualifying students may take this course for St. John’s University credit.
Students pursuing the St. Joseph’s College Child Study Pathway can take this class for college credit.
Prerequisite: Algebra 2 Honors or Pre-Calculus Honors and teacher recommendation.
